P. Matias is a senior associate focusing his practice primarily in the area of workers’ compensation defense. He defends insurance companies and employers in the California Workers’ Compensation, Longshore & Harbor Workers’ Compensation, and Maritime arenas.
In addition to the work he does for the firm, he completed the Trojan Horse Method course to further jury trial skills, and provided pro bono services to enforce employment contracts and defend against wage and hour claims filed with the Labor Commissioner’s Office. His background is in handling civil lawsuits.
He applies his past civil litigation experience to be an assertive adversary in the fields of Workers’ Compensation and Longshore & Harbor Workers’ Compensation.
