James is a Partner in the Portland office, and has been in practice for over a decade, focusing on matters relating to the Longshore and Harbor Workers’ Compensation Act and its extensions. He has in-depth trial and appellate experience, including appearing in numerous hearings before administrative law judges and participating in appeals to the Benefits Review Board and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.

In addition to advocating for his clients, Jamie has been a featured speaker at several conferences sponsored by the Federal Office of Workers’ Compensation Programs and continues to hone his trial skills by coaching a high school’s mock trial team to success in state-wide competitions.
