Kate is a Partner in the Portland office and manages the firm’s state Workers’ Compensation Defense practice in Oregon. She has over 12 years of experience representing employers and applies the knowledge she has gained during that time to achieve the best possible outcome for her clients. She takes pride in her role as a problem solver for her clients, by effectively negotiating a settlement when possible and presenting an aggressive defense when hearings are required.

Outside of her role at the firm Kate is very active in the Workers’ Compensation Section of the Oregon State Bar. She has served on the Access to Justice Committee and served as the Chair of the Executive Committee in 2019.
